The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is the only youth club that teaches what matters most – leadership, confidence, and citizenship.
Every day, across the globe, hundreds of thousands of girls come together to laugh, share, and grow through fun events and challenging workshops designed to empower girls of all ages. Rainbow Girls volunteer for their community and travel around the world, visiting other clubs and making lots of new friends. Along the way, they gather invaluable life skills that help them become the best daughter, sister, student, and friend they can be. If you or someone you know would like to join Rainbow, click here!

Cindy Staley Arizona Inspiring Alumni, June 2023
Cindy Staley is a Majority Member and Past Worthy Advisor of Glendale Assembly #8 in Arizona. While Cindy held many Grand Offices as a Rainbow Girl, her last office was Grand Hope in 1994-1995. She is also the recipient of the Grand Cross of Color. Cindy has been happily married to her husband, Mike, since 2001. She was lucky enough to gain 4 bonus children after marrying Mike and these children reside in Illinois and Michigan. Furthermore, she adopted 2 children with Mike that are now ages 18 and 20. She is also a proud Grandmother to 10 grandchildren. After graduating from The University of Arizona in Tucson in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, she continued her dream of continuing to work with children as a pediatric nurse. She has worked for the past 18 years providing Community Health Nursing home visits with infants and toddlers aged 0-3 and following up with their development after being born with substance exposure. In 2016, Cindy was elated that her own daughter, Cassandra, was also interested in becoming a member of Glendale Assembly #8 in 2016. She has served as Mother Advisor to Glendale Assembly #8 since 2019 and enjoys serving the same Assembly that was instrumental in her own Rainbow journey. She is a member of the Grand Executive Committee and a Grand Deputy in Arizona. She is also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and Amaranth and serves on the advisory board of a local DeMolay Chapter. She has enjoyed travelling to other Rainbow jurisdictions with her daughter to experience Rainbow around the globe. Her journey in Rainbow both as a girl and as an adult, have been filled with amazing experiences that she terms her “butterflies and rainbows” and she is passionate about the history and future success of this amazing youth organization.
Thank you Cindy for Inspiring Us!
Summer Lynne Clifford - March 2018 Rockin' Rainbow Girl
While in the seventh grade, Bahama Assembly’s Summer Lynne Clifford, now 18, created a non-profit cheerleading squad for girls between 3 and 13 years old. A cheerleader herself, she coached the team until her senior year in high school. Now attending Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, Summer credits Rainbow with encouraging her to be a leader. For her outstanding community service, Summer received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. At the ceremony, she took time to reflect on the wonderful memories she shared with her team. Although she no longer coaches the squad, she stays in touch with the girls and encourages them to be leaders and to settle for nothing less than perfect in all they do. Summer said, “I have always loved the lesson of Faith because it teaches girls that no matter where they go, or what situation they are in, Faith will lead them and guide them.”

Brooke DeFazio is a 10 year old Pledge from New Jersey’s Holly Pledge Group #6 in Toms River, NJ.
This past summer, Brooke was Pledge Sister (May – September term).
For her charity project she wanted to support a local group called Courage From Kyle.
Brooke personally went to many major chain stores with a donation letter and spoke directly with
store managers who were rather impressed with her.
Through Brooke’s hard work and the support of her Pledge Sisters,
we raised over $1000. We are very proud of this young woman’s hard work and dedication.
She is really going places!
